On the agenda:
We need help getting Eric Chester on the ballot for Congress! We have collected about 500 signatures so far, but we need 2000. Getting on the ballot is the first step to having an electoral campaign this fall that the media can't ignore!
We are still collecting signatures for three pro-democracy referendums: Public Campaign Financing, Instant Run-off Voting, and Proportional Representation. Find out how you can get involved in putting these issues on the ballot in Franklin and Hampshire counties.
We should begin plans for our 4th of July anti-jingoism picnic. Last year was a great success, with lots of food, playing catch, and singing old-time radical hymes.
The first weekend in August is the YPSL National Convention and SPUSA Organizing Conference in Detroit Michigan. We encourage comrades to propose and lead workshops! We will rent a van to car pool out. Reserve your seat ASAP!
Please come and feel free to bring your own proposals for the agenda.
