Put your stimulus check to work. Support the work of the Socialist Party USA
In mid-May the government will be sending out stimulus checks in an attempt to "jump start" the economy. Most of us won't be buying new televisions or clothing- "stimulating" the economy -like the Bush administration hopes, we'll be catching up on bills, rent or mortgage payments. But why not set a side a small amount of the "stimulus" to help stimulate the work of an organization which is working to slash the military budget, fighting for a socialized health care system and a guaranteed a living income for all? That organization is, of course, the Socialist Party USA.

This summer we'll be incredibly active. On May Day, our local and state organizations will be in the streets marching for the rights of all workers. In June we'll be continuing our anti-war work by joining the on-going Iraq Moratorium campaign and taking part in the Open National Conference to Stop the War in Iraq and Bring the Troops Home Now. In July we'll be holding our biennial National Organizing Conference, bringing together  socialist from across the country for a weekend of skill shares, panels and educational workshops. And thats just a start!

We're asking members, supporters and friends of the Socialist Party to consider contributing part of their "stimulus" check toward the work of the Socialist Party USA.

Please make a pledge today. In mid-May we'll send you a letter and e-mail reminding you of your pledge, and once your pledge is received, you be sent a a thank you certificate and we will list you (unless you would like to remain anonymous) in the July issue of The Organizer.
